INFOBRAND.ID – As a form of social responsibility, the Yili Group, through its subsidiary, PT Yili Indonesia Dairy, the producer of Joyday ice cream, donated laptops to the Jamiatul Huda Islamic Junior High School in Sukamukti, Cikarang. The laptops were provided to improve teaching and learning activities at the school and thus help improve the quality of education for the Sukamukti village community surrounding the factory.
Yu Miao, a representative of Yili Group Management and President Director of Yili Indonesia Dairy, said, “We carry out this CSR activity annually and are part of our corporate social responsibility to the environment surrounding our production area.
As a quality-focused company, Yili places a strong emphasis on education because we believe it is the foundation for developing quality human resources. We recognize the excellent human resources in Indonesia, and we are proud to be supported by the local workforce in our operations. We hope that supporting children’s education will help improve the quality and future of children around our factory area.”
Yu Miao further added, “This CSR program is also part of the commitment of Asia’s largest dairy company to provide technology-enabled learning opportunities for children. We want them to develop digital savvy, keeping up with the increasingly widespread demands of technology application and use. Therefore, we are providing laptops to support teaching and learning activities at school.”
Ahwaludin, Principal of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Jamiatul Huda, said, “I am grateful to PT Yili Indonesia Dairy for providing laptops for teaching and learning activities at our school. Laptops are indeed essential for our school, as many teaching and learning activities are conducted online, including national exams. The addition of these new laptops from Yili Indonesia Dairy will certainly make teaching and learning activities more streamlined.”
The Village Head of Sukamukti Cikarang, Samid, said, “As the Village Head of Sukamukti, I am grateful to PT Yili Indonesia Dairy for their presence in our village. The presence of the Yili Indonesia Dairy factory creates jobs in Sukamukti Village, thereby improving the standard of living of the community in the area where the factory operates. I would also like to express my special gratitude for Yili Indonesia Dairy’s support for the development of children’s education in Sukamukti Village by providing laptops to the Jamiatul Huda Islamic Junior High School to facilitate the smooth running of the teaching and learning process.”
Previously, Yili Indonesia Dairy collaborated with the Indonesian Childhood Cancer Foundation (YCF) in commemorating International Childhood Cancer Day 2023 in Jakarta and in the vaccination program carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic.
