The Garuda International Cup 3 (GIC 3) youth soccer tournament will return from July 6-9, 2023, at the ASIOP Training Ground (ATG), Sentul, West Java, with the theme “The Season is Coming, Let’s Have Fun.”

Yili Group, through its subsidiary, PT Yili Indonesia Dairy, the producer of Joyday ice cream, is demonstrating its commitment to supporting positive activities and initiatives for young people. This time, it will participate in the international-class Garuda International Cup 3 (GIC 3), distributing 5,000 free Joyday products during the event. Globally, Yili Group has partnered with the AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Yu Miao, President Director of PT Yili Indonesia Dairy, said, “We are delighted to be part of the Garuda International Cup 3. This demonstrates our commitment to supporting positive activities and initiatives for young people. We believe Indonesia possesses a wealth of talent, particularly in sports, that can be developed at the international level. We also hope that this tournament will provide opportunities for young Indonesians to shine through football.”

Yu Miao further added that Yili is providing premium products at the event for visitors and players. They can visit our booth and receive a free copy of Joyday’s hero products.

A total of 32 teams from seven different countries will participate in the 2023 Garuda International Cup 3. For Indonesia, this tournament is special, as it follows FIFA’s appointment of Indonesia as the host of the 2023 U-17 World Cup. It is hoped that the GIC 3 event will fuel the excitement leading up to the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

“As a global company actively involved in various fields, including sports and health initiatives, Yili will continue to strive to create a diverse range of products to meet market needs. In June 2023, Yili Indonesia became the first ice cream company to receive the Food Safety Risk Management Program (PMR) certification from the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM). This program is designed by the government to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and nutritional requirements in accordance with applicable regulations,” said Yu Miao.

Yili Group is the largest dairy company in Asia, having maintained its position for nine consecutive years. This is reflected in Yili’s position among the top five global dairy brands in 2022.

Yili is active in the dairy product market and is confident in its ability to maintain its leading position in all categories, including liquid milk, powdered milk, yogurt, ice cream, cheese, and more.
